Act 74: Supplementing the Record

To recap: On February 8, 2002, we moved to "supplement the record," primarily so that we could send to the appeals court a CD that included the website that was the original subject of this lawsuit. Because the judge had ordered me to remove the site from the Web, the appeals court would be unable to view the site without the CD. It seemed like a no-brainer – but on February 20, 2002, Taubman filed a brief opposing our motion to supplement the record.

On April 2, 2002, Judge Zatkoff granted our motion. To be precise, the judge says that he granted our motion "in part" – but frankly, the legalism behind his choice of words is over my head. At any rate, the judge did agree to allow us to add the CD to the record of this case, which will allow us to send it to the appeals court.
