Subject: Your Taubman battle
The overwhelming question I kept asking myself while reading your web site
was, "Why isn't this guy a lawyer?"
You, my friend, have a talent -- a serious talent. One that should not be
wasted. I know, the thought of having to litigate-for-a-living sends
shudders through my body too, but you could be very successful and retire
young!
I'll tell you one thing, I was really chapped after hearing that voice-mail
from Douglas Sprinkle where he tells you to bring down the web site. Then to
hear him lie in court -- ooooohhh, I'd have been pissed!
Did you notice when the judge would ask pointed questions to Mr. Sprinkle,
ones that he didn't like, that he'd just mimic what the judge stated, like a
2-watt Xmas bulb?
(referring to supposed phone conversations with you)
[Judge Boggs] Okay, but that's not directly in the record.
[Doug Sprinkle] That's not directly in the record.
....
[Judge Clay] He didn't make any findings of fact or conclusions of law there,
is what we're saying.
[Doug Sprinkle] He did not make findings of fact or conclusions of law.
....
Braaaaaak! Polly wanna cracker??? Braaaaaak!
If I were Ms. Greenberg or Mr. Sprinkle, I'd feel mighty ashamed by now.
Overall, I am mighty impressed by your effort. Yours was a historically
significant one.
